Attorney Suad Bektic

Suad Bektic is the President and owner of New Day Legal, PLLC. Suad is a member of the Richmond Bar Association, the Northern Virginia Bankruptcy Bar Association, and the Virginia State Bar. He is admitted to practice in the Federal District Court for both the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia, the Federal Bankruptcy Court for both the Eastern and Western District of Virginia, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and all State courts, including the Virginia Supreme Court. He is also a Registered Settlement Agent under RESA.

Suad is the son of immigrant parents and was raised in Richmond, Virginia. He graduated from Freeman High school and then became the first in his family to graduate from college as a graduate of the University of Richmond in 2010. Suad then moved to Charlotte, NC and obtained his MBA and law degree in 2015.

Prior to taking over and becoming the President of New Day Legal, Suad was the Senior Associate focusing his practice on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies. Suad continues to help families and small business owners get past their financial burdens and lead more fulfilling lives. Suad is also a registered Settlement Agent and helps Buyers and Sellers close on their real estate transactions as New Day Title company. Regardless of whether the Client is getting out of debt, buying or selling a home, or perhaps getting out of debt AND also buying or selling a home, Suad is passionate about bringing his Clients a New Day.

Suad is an avid sports fan and car enthusiast. Any spare time is spent either in the mountains or at the beach.
